With influences from the radical Memphis Design Group, synthwave music and glitzy Miami culture, this pod is a one-of-a-kind space. Featuring a private hot soaking tub and entertaining space, it allows you to be immersed in nostalgic futurism whilst enjoying the comfort of modern day facilities.
Setting the Scene
The year is 1984 and the band Rubix are making waves in the synth pop soaked charts on their way to the first of many UK number 1 hits. This impact transferred overseas and before they knew it they were taking flights to all the world’s major cities.
With success came excess and touring came courtesy of a luxury private jet called Ammonite. Fame came easily to front woman Cherry Diamond and her diva like tendencies meant she wouldn’t be seen dead in a beige clad jet liner. Her style was bold, outrageous and unapologetic so she hired in the crème de la crème of 80s designers to overhaul her sky bound home. Striking up a friendship with a key player in the new and radical Memphis Design Group she managed to achieve the interior of her dreams.
Some 40 years later Cherry has decided memories aren’t enough and has created an exact replica of her cherished private jet Ammonite’s interior housed within a luxury countryside cabin. It’s here she comes to reminisce of the decade that saw her reach the highest of highs. Now she wants you to experience part of her world in all it’s vivid beauty.

The Space
Inside the pod, you'll find a spacious king-size bed, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. There is also a smart television so you can indulge in all your favourite films. The pod features a cozy double sofa bed, ideal for additional guests or children.
Whip up your favourite meals in the fully equipped kitchenette, complete with everything you need for a comfortable stay including a combination microwave oven, hob, fridge and even a mini dishwasher. Step outside onto the spacious decked balcony to eat or sit at the indoor breakfast bar.
Relax and recuperate in a refreshing shower in the atmospheric, neon soaked en-suite bathroom designed with a touch of 80s luxe.
As the sun sets, step outside to the dedicated hot tub area, where a Miami synthwave theme comes to life. Neon signs and ambient lighting create a dreamy, futuristic atmosphere. The soaking tub is easy to relax into straight away with just hot and cold water taps. You could even use it as a cool plunge pool in hot weather!
The pod also has a dedicated work space with USB charging points and 3 pin sockets as well as additional pull out work space.
The Surroundings
Ammonite is nestled at the heart of a tranquil, natural campsite alongside a small number of campervan and camping pitches and our other quirky pod, Coplow. The 80s inspired retreat offers unique accommodation surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.
The campsite is a haven for nature lovers, with lush greenery, tall trees, and the soothing sounds of birdsong creating a calming atmosphere.
Despite its natural feel, the location is easily accessible by taxi and public transport, making it the perfect blend of convenience and escape. Whether you're looking to explore nearby cycling route 63, visit the National Space Centre, or simply relax and recharge, this glamping pod offers something for everyone.
